I have improved in many different ways but I have noticed more improvement in my Road to the vanishing point most of all. In my first picture drew the road on a slanted angle, this is not a one point perspective picture, which made my buildings look like they are rolling down a hill. I also believe that I have improved in my buildings, Looking back on my first picture before we learned this lesson I would have thought that my first drawing was fairly good. Now after listening and learning the steps to make a city I look at my first drawing and notice all the things I had done wrong. I have improved in more ways then I have listed but these are the big Improvements.
I had many problems, the worst was trying to make all my buildings go to the vanishing point. This was really difficult to do, but I tried again and again to make them the best I could. The best decision I made was to try and try until I did it right.
I am so happy with my piece of art. I am most excited because I had never been a really artsy person. Before I took this class I could barely draw a square. I feel that I did an amazing job and I did better than I thought I could
I chose this setup because i thought it showed the image around sharing peace. I decided to capture this image of sharing by have to people holding and earth, to show that they are sharing the world... I used the sunset and trees to show the image of peace. I chose this scene for my backdrop because my idea of peace is being outside at sunset and listening to the birds sing. This idea was chosen for the same reason for the sun shows a beautiful sunset.
My original drawing was filled with trees and a cabin. I changed my idea a million times going from trees to lots of trees. I had lots of trouble drawing the trees and the sun and people so I decided to use materials that didn't need any free hand drawing. I had other problems like trying to add texture to my picture my solution was to add cat tails around the river.
I am very happy with my picture. I succeeded in many ways I thought I wouldn't. I improved in many ways such as texture and colors. I found out how to make it look beautiful. I am very excited to share this picture with my family and friends.
